It's not inaccurate, though -- sure, the people he drags into death games aren't having the greatest of times, but wouldn't you say the same of someone who got into serial killing just to find out it wasn't all it's cracked up to be? Someone who thought himself remade by a father when he was really just a tool for a fraud? It's nuanced, you see, he thinks as he oils gears, padlocks collars, goes out to buy groceries. The nuance is that there's no way out. Poor Amanda.
